Founded by Chad P. Lefort and Chris J. Galjour, 13 Extreme is a site dedicated to extreme sports. Formed in 2003, it started out as a couple of friends riding bikes, skateboards, and motorcycles. We originally got the idea for the site because I had a hobby for web design and had nothing to put on my web sites. So, me and Chris decided to come up with 13 Extreme.

The origin of the name comes from the street which the whole team lived down, which is 13th Street, and since we were a "extreme" sports team 13 Extreme just seemed to fit well. Even though I had some content to put on my site it still wasn't very much. We had few pictures, and no video footage. The site had no popularity, but still it was a fun hobby just knowing that maybe someone was looking at your site. The site went through plenty of layouts, but never really changing content till around 2004. When that year came around we had plenty of riders and actual cameras to film with. We had lots of video footage to look at. For once our site was alive but then something happened; I just stopped working on websites and the new site just never came. No one even seemed to care about 13 Extreme anymore.

That was in 2005, and now thanks to Robert and a bunch of skaters pushing me, 13 Extreme is back! We have a great team, loads of footage coming, and the site is fresher than ever. Making the site again has lit a fire under my ass and got me back on the board after a 1 year of not skating; I also have the passion to web design again. You can expect a lot from 13 Extreme, we all seem happy now that it's back.
